Check-in Time: Around 3:00 p.m. If you would like to check in earlier, please call the Innkeeper to make this request – if the room was not rented the night before, it's yours!

Check-out Time: Usually 11:00 a.m. Again, if you would like to request a later check-out, just ask!

Payment: To confirm a reservation we require a deposit equal to the first night's stay. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, checks and cash. We charge 6% Michigan sales tax. Gratuity for the housekeeping staff is at your discretion and always appreciated.

Cancellations: Stone Waters Inn has a two week cancellation policy on all non-group reservations. We are a small property with high demand for rooms, so please give us notice if you need to cancel. We will not refund any deposit money for cancellations within two weeks. Group and whole house booking generally have a two month cancellation policy, however you should check your confirmation for details.

Smoking: All guest rooms are non-smoking. Outdoor smoking is permitted.

Pets: Stone Waters Inn will allow pets under certain circumstances and we do charge a cleaning fee for this. Call the Innkeeper for details.

Parking: There is space next to the Inn and two lots across the street. Keep in mind … we have parking available for boats and snowmobiles! Please Note: Overnight parking is NOT allowed on the street.

All guest rooms have a balcony or patio, in-room coffee, complimentary mugs, blow dryer, air conditioning, and alarm clock.

Hot Tub: Don't forget your bathing suit! The hot tub is located on the river's edge, overlooking over 700 feet of pristine river frontage. Towels are located in a basket near the bottom of the interior stairs, so help yourself.. Hot tub hours are from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

Phones: Long distance calls are not available from your room, however local calls are free and villages within the local dialing network include: Bellaire, Alden, Central Lake, Clam River, East Jordan, Ellsworth, Mancelona and Torch River

Television: Each room offers a color TV, with over 70 channels including Nickelodeon, ESPN, TCM, CNN, Weather Channel, Fox Sports and many others.

Additional Amenities: Try your hand at English Billiards in the lobby, or curl up by the fireplace with a book. You'll find a selection of board games and playing cards in the lobby, along with a radio and a collection of CD's. We simply ask that you be considerate of our other guests and your neighbors with the volume and noise level, especially late evening. Keep in mind that we're an older style inn and noise can travel. A gas grille on the outdoor deck is available for our guests as well! Just make yourselves at home!
